William and Kate got married today. Lovely.
Next on the list of items to cover: Obama's "birth certificate."
Up to a few days ago, I'd have said "the Certificate of Live Birth" that he came up with would just have to do, so shut up and let's get on with it. I have felt all along that the real "meat" in any attempt to dislodge this guy as an imposter was through his college records: by all anecdotal evidence, his applications to Occidental College and for financial aid were as a "foreign student."Remember, Obama was entitled to a British passport through his father and possibly an Indonesian passport through his step-father.
If he was to have applied for aid (from the Federal Government) as a foreign student, that -- for all intents and purposes -- should settle matters as to his citizenship. Taking money from the taxpayers as a foreigner is or should be dispositive in renouncing your citizenship. Showing all the indicia that he considers himself to be non-American must have precisely that effect.
So, Barry ... let's see those records that you have so carefully sealed for all these years, and that EVERY American President to date has released. And your Columbia U. records, too. Let's see your genius in the shape of grades.
The birth certificate ... remember too, they bought that crap dug up by CBS purporting to "prove" Bush's service record ... done with Microsoft word and a laser printer (if I have to explain why that cannot be to you, please enter "www.tmz.com" in your browser and leave this blog). Let me just point out a few "glaring" problems -- at least circulating on the web (you can make up your own mind as to how "glaring"):
(1). The serial number is after the number of a woman (and twin brother) born a day later (who somehow marched down to authorities in Hawaii and pulled her own certificate without much trouble). And her certificate was processed after his. This one is tough to figure. Bureaucracy, maybe.
(2). The typeface throughout the document is inconsistent. But then again ... remember using a typewriter? Not the greatest instrument.
(3). There is no seal. There should be a seal, I think and some fancy border.
(4). There are strange and inscrutable pencil markings all over it (from a document held securely by Hawaiian authorities?) Why? But then again, why not?
(5). Father's race as "African." Anybody who was in America at the time can tell you that the word used in polite company was "Negro." Or even "colored." Perhaps even "black." But not "African." That document was filled in by a clerk in Hawaii, not by a professor of diversity. It corresponds with the first Certificate of Live Birth produced in 2009. But is it correct? This does not seem right to me. But perhaps Obama Sr. or Mum gave "African" as a political gesture.
(6). "Kenya, East Africa" did not exist in 1961. "Kenya" was colony in "British East Africa." After 1963, this place was called "Dominion of Kenya." After 1964, it was and is called "Republic of Kenya." OK, this one seems pretty clear. But didn't everyone always call it "Kenya?" After Jomo Kenyatta, the first President?Huh?
(7). Kauikeolani Children's Hospital was the actual name of the place where he was ostensibly born in 1961. It was only in 1978 that it merged with the Kapiolani Maternity Home to become what is listed on the document. But that does not explain how the two birth certificates listed above which cause the numbering problem also use the Kapiolani name.... Unless they are fakes, too?
(8). Use of photoshop software reveals that the document was constructed in "layers." An original or color photocopy does not have "layers."But I am told that Photoshop does this as part of its system.
So what gives? If only the media would take its collective head out of its rectum and have a closer look.
And meanwhile an officer is sitting in a cell in Leavenworth for failing to follow orders -- because he believes our Commander-in-Chief to be other that he says he is.

How to treat friends....
LONDON DAILY TELEGRAPH -
The American people can now more readily "understand" why the Obama's were
omitted from the guest list to the Royal wedding in April! This is a very
sobering article. Our handling of relationships with the Britons over the
oil spill didn't help either.
From The London Daily Telegraph Editor On Foreign Relations
Quote:
"Let me be clear: I'm not normally in favor of boycotts, and I love the
American people. I holiday in their country regularly, and hate the tedious
snobby sneers against the United States. But the American people chose to
elect an idiot who seems hell bent on insulting their allies, and something
must be done to stop Obama's reckless foreign policy, before he does the
dirty on his allies on every issue."
One of the most poorly kept secrets in Washington is President Obama's
animosity toward Great Britain, presumably because of what he regards as its
sins while ruling Kenya (1895-1963).
One of Barack Hussein Obama's first acts as president was to return to
Britain a bust of Winston Churchill that had graced the Oval Office since
9/11. He followed this up by denying Prime Minister Gordon Brown, on his first
state visit, the usual joint press conference with flags.
The president was "too tired" to grant the leader of America 's closest
ally a proper welcome, his aides told British journalists.
Mr. Obama followed this up with cheesy gifts for Mr. Brown and the Queen.
Columnist Ian Martin described his behavior as "rudeness personified."
There was more rudeness in store for Mr. Brown at the opening session of the
United Nations in September. "The prime minister was forced to dash through
the kitchens of the UN in New York to secure five minutes of face time with
President Obama after five requests for a sit down meeting were rejected by
the White House", said London Telegraph columnist David Hughes. Mr. Obama's
"churlishness is unforgivable", Mr. Hughes said.
The administration went beyond snubs and slights last week when Secretary
of State Hillary Clinton endorsed the demand of Argentine President
Cristina Kirchner, a Hugo Chavez ally, for mediation of Argentina 's specious
claim to the Falkland Islands, a British dependency since 1833. The people who
live in the Falklands, who speak English, want nothing to do with Argentina.
When, in 1982, an earlier Argentine dictatorship tried to seize the
Falklands by force, the British -- with strong support from President Ronald
Reagan -- expelled them.
"It is truly shocking that Barack Obama has decided to disregard our
shared history," wrote Telegraph columnist Toby Young. "Does Britain 's
friendship really mean so little to him?" One could ask, does the friendship of
anyone in the entire world mean anything to him?
"I recently asked several senior administration officials, separately, to
name a foreign leader with whom Barack Obama has forged a strong personal
relationship during his first year in office," wrote Jackson Diehl, deputy
editorial page editor of the Washington Post, on Monday. "A lot of hemming
and hawing ensued." One official named French President Nicolas Sarkozy,
but his contempt for Mr. Obama is an open secret. Another named German
Chancellor Angela Merkel. But, said Mr. Diehl, "Merkel too has been
conspicuously cool toward Obama."
Mr. Obama certainly doesn't care about the Poles and Czechs, whom he has
betrayed on missile defense. Honduras and Israel also can attest that he's
been an unreliable ally and an unfaithful friend Ironically, our relations
with both Israel and the Palestinian Authority have never been worse. Russia
has offered nothing in exchange for Mr. Obama's abandonment of missile
defense. Russia and China won't support serious sanctions on Iran. Syria's
support for terrorism has not diminished despite efforts to normalize
diplomatic relations. The reclusive military dictatorship that runs Burma has
responded to our efforts at "engagement" by deepening its ties to North Korea.
And the Chinese make little effort to disguise their contempt for him.
For the first time in a long time, the President of the United States is
actually distrusted by its allies and not in the least feared by its
adversaries. Nor is Mr. Obama now respected by the majority of Americans.
Understandably focused on the dismal economy and Mr. Obama's relentless
efforts to nationalize and socialize health care, Americans apparently have yet
to notice his dismal performance and lack of respect in the world community.
They soon will.

Earth Day Celebrations
This is directly lifted from the U.S. News and World Report -- I simply don't have to add anything: res ipsa loquitur (it speaks for itself).
USNWR:
President Obama declared today's 41st annual Earth Day proof of America's ecological and conservation spirit—then completed a three-day campaign-style trip logging 10,666 miles on Air Force One, eating up some 53,300 gallons at a cost of about $180,000. And that doesn't include the fuel consumption of his helicopter, limo, or the 29 other vehicles that travel with that car.
In a two-page statement issued before leaving Los Angeles, his last stop in a three city-fund-raising tour that also included important policy pronouncements like his plan to probe what's behind high gas prices, Obama proclaimed: "For over 40 years, our nation has come together on Earth Day to appreciate and raise awareness about our environment, natural heritage, and the resources upon which generations of Americans have depended. Healthy land and clean water and air are essential to the health of our communities and wildlife. Earth Day is an opportunity to renew America's commitment to preserving and protecting the state of our environment through community service and responsible stewardship."
His proclamation added, "Our nation has a proud conservation tradition, which includes countless individuals who have worked to safeguard our natural legacy and ensure our children can benefit from these resources. Looking to the future of our planet, American leadership will continue to be pivotal as we confront the environmental challenges that threaten the health of both our country and the globe."
Unfortunately for any president, there is no way around traveling and the high costs of maintaining armored and militarized equipment sometimes make it a political target. The costs of travel by recent presidents have typically been investigated by opposing parties, but because the administrations and Secret Service don't discuss details like fuel consumption, those probes can't be exact in the total costs.
But it is pretty easy to ballpark the costs of most trips, like Obama's three-day tour. He started at the White House on Wednesday, flew out of Andrews Air Force Base and ended up in San Francisco. On Thursday, he flew to Reno and ended the day in Los Angeles. Today, he flew home, via Andrews Air Force Base.
According to the mileage calculator on webflyer.com, those trips total 10,666 air miles. Published reports say that Boeing 747s similar to Air Force One burn about 5 gallons per mile. With companies like Jet Blue now paying $3.37 a gallon, that’s a total fuel cost of $179,621.
During his trip, Obama's 30-car motorcade was used to carry him to events. His limo, and there are usually two in the motorcade, gets a high of 8-10 miles per gallon, according to industry estimates, ironic considering his recent criticism of low-mileage cars. In Pennsylvania earlier this month, he mocked low-mileage vehicles that get 8 miles per gallon, like heavy duty work trucks.
"If you're complaining about the price of gas and you're only getting 8 miles a gallon, you know," Obama said laughingly. "You might want to think about a trade-in."
During his trip newspapers and local authorities warned about traffic gridlock as the president's motorcade traveled through San Francisco and LA. A similar trip to Los Angeles caused such bad gridlock that a local councilman, Bill Rosendahl, asked for an probe into ways such traffic jams can be avoided in the future. According to wire reports, he said, "I told the White House they might have raised $1 million, but they lost one million votes."
In his Earth Day proclamation, Obama said that international and local action is needed to preserve resources and keep the air clean. "While our changing climate requires international leadership, global action on clean energy and climate change must be joined with local action. Every American deserves the cleanest air, the safest water, and unpolluted land, and each person can take steps to protect those precious resources. When we reduce environmental hazards, especially in our most overburdened and polluted cities and neighborhoods, we prioritize the health of our families, and move towards building the clean energy economy of the 21st century."
Sort of makes Michelle look like an amateur. It does miss the capitalization costs of the flight miles, the extra labor time, the maintenance time and cost, the police overtime from the motorcades, the lost time from traffic jams, the fact that the President's cars are also transported by military transport to get them on site, the travel costs of the SSvc detail ... It is a GREAT deal more expensive than this ... to raise how much?
All federal taxpayers contributed to this campaign swing -- but of course that means this exempts the 45% that don't pay taxes ... and those, of course, would be Obama's voters. So in essence, conservative voters paid for Obama's little West Coast swing. Personally, I wouldn't have paid a dime for his Greyhound bus ticket.

Michelle's close call
Michelle Obama yesterday barely avoided becoming a statistic when her "Presidential" 737 (a military C-40 of the"Presidential fleet")came within three miles of a military C-17. Or at least that is what is passing as "news." So why do I bring it up?
1. There were not even close to being in danger -- ask ANY professional pilot.
2. Jill Biden (yeah, that Biden) was also on the plane.
3. Not one major news source bothered to publish why their cherished Michelle was on a 737 in the first place. Why is the first news outlet to mention this that I can find is from Omaha? http://www.omaha.com/article/20110420/AP/110429994
And herein is the news-worthy item: Michelle and Jill had been to New York to appear on a television show .... Yes, First Lady and Vice First Lady were out pre-campaign stumping on the public dollar (in a 7-freaking-37 no less). Couldn't they take Amtrack? Or even one of the dozens of G5's and other small jets -- or even a helicopter? Does the unelected First Lady deserve the perk reserved for the Speaker of the House (Pelosi got it upgraded to a military 757 -- before that, it was an 8 seat executive jet)?
Where is the outrage from the Liberal press about the grossest waste of assets and fuel at a time when most American families are hurting to fill their gas tanks? How about that vegetable garden, Michelle? How much do have to plant to negate the carbon footprint of your trip?
George Carlin stated: "a collision is a near miss," this was a near hit.
